Privacy Policy — Omaraty

Omaraty is a residential building management platform. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, and app language — collected when you create an account and sign in (Google or phone number).
• Building data: building name, address and approximate location, and apartment numbers.
• Financial records: dues, payments, and payment receipt photos you upload. The app records payments; it does not process electronic payments.
• Residents who don't use the app: a building manager can record the name and phone number of the household in an apartment nobody has registered for, whether they own or rent, notes, previous dues and payments, to keep that apartment's accounts on their behalf. The manager enters this themselves; the app sends that household no messages.
• Device data: a push notification token (FCM), plus crash and usage data via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics to improve the app.

How we use it

• Operating the service: building management, dues tracking, announcements, polls.
• Sending notifications about your building (dues, announcements, join requests).
• Improving performance and fixing crashes.

Storage and sharing

• Data is stored on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure and encrypted in transit (TLS).
• We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.
• Members of your building see only what financial transparency requires (e.g. apartment payment status), according to each role's permissions.
• The name, phone number and notes of a household that doesn't use the app are visible to building managers only, never to other residents. When someone registers for that apartment and is approved, their own details replace them; the previous details are kept with the building's financial records so it stays clear who paid what before. To correct or remove them, ask your building manager or email us below.

Account deletion and retention

• Delete your account in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or via the account deletion page.
• Deletion removes your personal account data. Financial records (approved payments and their receipts) are retained under a non-active reference identifier to preserve the integrity of the building's accounts and for fraud-prevention/legal-compliance purposes.

Age

The app is intended for adults (18+) and is not designed for children.
